I am a Ph.D. student at China Institute of Atomic Energy (CIAE), majoring in Nuclear Astrophysics. My research lies at the intersection of nuclear physics and stellar astronomy. I study stellar nucleosynthesis – the processes by which stars synthesize heavy elements from primordial hydrogen and helium. This involves both theoretical modeling of nuclear reaction networks and experimental efforts in low-energy nuclear physics. I perform precision measurements of near-threshold nuclear reactions, aiming to provide reliable reaction rates for stellar models and to understand the origin of isotopes in the universe. My daily work includes operating accelerator-based experimental setups, handling particle detectors, and analyzing nanobarn cross-section data. I am passionate about using laboratory nuclear data to decode the whispers of starlight.
